SUPPLY LIST
🐱 Bookmark Template (This craft is based on one from Teatime Monkeys)
🐱 Card stock in whatever color you want for the cats body
🐱 Pink card stock for the nose
🐱 Plain or pattern paper for the collar
🐱 Felt
🐱 Googly Eyes
🐱 Gem for the collar
🐱 Glue
🐱 Scissors
🐱 Marker
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut out a small triangle from the pink paper for the nose.
2. Cut out a small strip from the plain or patterned paper for the collar.
3. Glue your google eyes up by the ears.
4. Glue the pink nose, point down.
5. Use the marker to draw a little smile and whiskers.
6. I adjusted the Teatime Monkeys craft to have some soft felt in the middle of the cat rather than paper. Use the template for the felt middle piece and glue it to the middle of the cats body just under the collar. Place plenty of glue on the card stock piece then lay the felt down. Don’t try to put glue on the felt.
That’s all there is to it, it’s a quick and easy craft! As usual, you can play around with the colors and make it your own! It will be the purr-fect companion to your reading adventures!
We picked out some effanineffable books to celebrate our four-legged friends this month. Hopefully we will hear some of your cat stories too!
